At The Roseate New Delhi<\/a>, Mukul and Anna\u2019s wedding was designed around one simple idea: bringing two cultures together in a way that felt natural and meaningful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As wedding designers, our goal was not to create something overly grand or dramatic. Instead, we wanted the space to reflect the couple\u2019s story. Mukul grew up in India and Anna is from Poland, so the wedding naturally became a meeting point of two families, two traditions, and two very different worlds. The design needed to feel welcoming and familiar to everyone attending.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Pastel<\/figure>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

From the very beginning, we focused on creating decor that blended softness with tradition. European-inspired florals and gentle colour palettes were paired with classic Indian elements so that both cultures could feel present throughout the celebrations. Every element was layered thoughtfully to create a space that felt elegant, warm and personal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Bright Daytime Celebration<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the daytime ceremony, we embraced a colour palette that felt joyful and celebratory. Marigold, turmeric yellow, olive green and earthy brown tones formed the foundation of the design.

Structured wooden panels layered with cascading marigold garlands formed the backdrop. Marigold instantly brought a strong sense of Indian tradition to the setting, while the wooden framework kept the overall look clean and structured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sunflowers and bright floral accents were introduced throughout the space to bring warmth and vibrancy to the decor. Baskets filled with flower petals were placed around the ceremony area, adding texture and a sense of celebration.
The bright palette carried the joyful energy of the ceremony while keeping the styling intentional and refined. The overall setup felt festive and vibrant, while still maintaining balance and elegance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Soft Blush Mandap on the Lawns<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the wedding ceremony on the lawns, the design shifted into a softer and more romantic direction. The colour palette moved into blush, ivory and pastel florals, creating a calm and serene atmosphere. The idea was to allow the ceremony to feel intimate while still feeling visually special.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mandap was designed with sheer drapes and delicate floral arrangements framed with roses and light greenery. The structure felt light and elegant, blending naturally with the outdoor setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The aisle leading to the mandap was lined with white floral arrangements placed on muted gold stands, guiding guests gently toward the ceremony space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guest seating featured blush bows that added softness and subtle movement to the setting. As the evening progressed, candle arrangements and pastel florals brought warmth to the space, helping the entire setup transition beautifully from daylight into evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thoughtful Details for Guests<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since many guests were experiencing each other\u2019s traditions for the first time, it was important for the celebration to feel inclusive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each guest received a hand fan with the wedding itinerary on one side and the meaning of each ceremony on the other. Everything was translated into English and Polish so everyone could follow along and feel connected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These small details helped make the experience more comfortable and engaging for guests from both sides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the end, Mukul and Anna\u2019s wedding was not just about beautiful d\u00e9cor, but about bringing two cultures together naturally. The vibrant marigold ceremony celebrated Indian traditions, while the soft blush mandap created a romantic setting for the wedding. Each space was thoughtfully designed to reflect the larger story of the celebration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
