As wedding designers, our goal was not to create something overly grand or dramatic. Instead, we wanted the space to reflect the couple’s story. Mukul grew up in India and Anna is from Poland, so the wedding naturally became a meeting point of two families, two traditions, and two very different worlds. The design needed to feel welcoming and familiar to everyone attending.
Some venues already feel like a celebration. With its Mughal-inspired arches, intricate ceilings, grand chandeliers, and sprawling courtyards, NoorMahal Palace in Karnal set the stage for Nitin and Melisaa’s multi-function wedding.
From a colour-filled welcome lunch to a dramatic sufi night, a sunlit haldi and finally a grand wedding ceremony, each event carried a distinct mood while staying true to the royal character of the palace.
